📥 Gmail & Calendar Sync
Gmail and Calendar are now live in Operate.
- Smart email import — connect Gmail and Operate previews a pre-filled deal card straight from the thread. One click to create a deal, no rote data entry.
- Selective sync, not a firehose — rather than pulling everything in, you get a preview step first. Bulk-select what matters, filter out the noise. New conversations sync by contact or bcc going forward.
- Full picture in the Activity Feed — emails sit alongside stage changes, Slack messages, next steps, and comments. A new source filter lets you slice the feed by channel — just emails, just Slack, whatever you need.
- Calendar as next steps — meetings don't get their own separate tracker. They show up as next steps, in context with everything else in the deal flow. We also took the opportunity to refresh the next steps design: cleaner, easier to scan, with calendar context built in.

The cold start problem
Sometimes, the hardest part of logging a deal is just the blank slate. A name, an email, a company, a domain… it’s a lot of rote data entry.
