Operate brings light, momentum, and joy to the messy, manual early-stage sales process. We’re crafting a beautiful product that founders actually want to use — fast, thoughtful, and built with taste.

We’re not building Yet Another Sales Tool™. We’re building a precision tool — smart defaults, fast workflows, and zero fluff.

Now we’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our small team and ship high-impact, high-craft product experiences from day one.

You’ll thrive here if you:

• Care deeply about product and believe software should be beautiful, fast, and intuitive. Life’s too short for janky software.
• Have a proven track record of building quality user experiences—not just writing code, but crafting software people love.
• Enjoy working and iterating on problems end-to-end — from early exploration and prototypes to user feedback, polish, and strategy. You’ve got opinions, curiosity, and a builder’s mindset.
• Are comfortable working towards solutions, breaking down complex problems, and making pragmatic tradeoffs while keeping the quality bar high.
• Have shipped features using React and TypeScript, and you know what “good” looks and feels like.
• Understand and enjoy working with relational databases like Postgres — modeling data and shaping product logic from the ground up.
• Bring clear, empathetic communication to both technical and cross-functional collaboration.

It’s a bonus if:

• You’ve built or maintained developer-facing SDKs or internal platforms
• You’ve worked with a sync engine like Zero, ElectricSQL, or Replicache
• You have integration experience (e.g., Merge.dev, Finch, etc.)
